Based on a novel by Diana Wynne Jones, Howl's Moving Castle was written and directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Hiyao Miyazaki (Spirited Away) and produced by Toshio Suzuki. Pixar Animation Studios' Pete Docter (Monster's Inc.) and Disney's Rick Dempsey directed the voice talent for the English language version; Dempsey and Ned Lott served as producers.
