Downtown Disney

The World of Disney is the largest Disney store in California and the second-largest in the world after the World of Disney at the Walt Disney World resort. Tons of merchandise line the walls and fixtures and the store features a variety of apparel, fine art, toys, candy and theme park-exclusive products, including items from Disney's California Adventure. The above pictures are of the figurines above the three entrances to the store.

The closest tenant to the two theme parks, Los Angeles-based La Brea Bakery has both a full-service dining and a self-service "grab-and-go" area. An assortment of coffee, juices and other soft drinks, in addition to pastries, sandwiches, soups and salads are offered for guests to purchase.

Since its opening in 1995, the show building housing Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye has been visible to guests approaching the entrance to Disneyland. With hotel rooms having a view of the building and to generally improve the look of it from the surrounding Downtown Disney area, a new facade has been placed on the building, complete with faux treetops rising above the roofline.
