Downtown Disney

Inside the rotunda housing the LEGO Imagination Center, guests will find the latest in LEGO bricks, sets and related toys. They sell T-shirts that say LEGO, Anaheim, though I thought it would have been neat if they said LEGO, Downtown Disney. When you visit, be sure to check out the Darth Vader and R2-D2 figures made of LEGOS.

A shot of the domed interior of the LEGO Imagination Center. There are displays of LEGO creations throughout the store. Here you can see a New York-inspired display complete with skyscrapers.

Downtown Disney actually extends across Disneyland Drive (formerly West Street) on an overpass bridge. In this picture, you can see the proximity of the Grand Californian Hotel to Downtown Disney with the Paradise Pier section of Disney's California Adventure in the background.

Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen seems like one of the more intriguing of the eateries at Downtown Disney. This is restaurateur Ralph Brennan's first location outside of the New Orleans' area and the two-story, 15,000-square-foot dining area will offer Southern hospitality along with its great food and music.

The front entrance area of Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. There is actually a full restaurant and a little "take-out" restaurant to the left. The center courtyard has a water fountain in the middle.

In this picture, guests are checking out the menu of Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. The life-size figurines of the chef and musician - as well as the signage - add a bit of character to the place.
