In the esplanade between Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, blue and red Mickey Mouse balloons represent the Angels colors. Also being sold were mylar balloons with the current Angels logo. The crowd of people queueing up to enter Disneyland to view the first Angels parade. Gates were to open at 9 a.m. but were actually opened at about 8:15 a.m. instead. The parade started at 10 a.m. Some of the crowd waiting for the start of the parade on Main Street USA. Guests in attendance received free ThunderStix, though without any Angels graphics or logos.
