Mickey's head and ears on the float's Sun Wheel are made up of purple flowers with white flowers serving as a border.

A close-up of California Screamin's cars show the riders are actually different kinds of flowers.

Some of the flower elements are glued to the float's surface while other flowers are used whole to give the float its color.
