Since the first Disney theme park opened in 1955, meeting the characters has become a major attraction for Disney theme park visitors. A variety of characters, such as Mickey Mouse above, will appear daily in Fantasy Gardens, each eager for pictures, hugs and handshakes with guests of all ages.

In addition to Fantasy Gardens as a character meeting location, Hong Kong Disneyland guests may be surprised in all four lands by chance meetings with the Disney animated film stars, such as Minnie Mouse above, throughout their visit to the theme park.
