One of the most engaging Disney Details is the elaborately created dioramas on display in the windows of the Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. These windows tell the story of a recent Disney feature with key scenes enacted through miniature figurines, intimate sets and musical score playing from speakers above the windows. In anticipation of Disney's summer film Atlantis - The Lost Empire, the windows of Disneyland's Emporium were recently changed to feature scenes from the movie. The creation of these particular window "scenes" required the services of six talented individuals who sculpted, painted, animated and installed them in about two months. The pictures below are accompanied by summaries found within the windows themselves. Enjoy - but be forewarned that the plot and climax are revealed, if you haven't seen the film yet and don't want to learn the "details."
