While the Disneyland Resort is a utopia unto itself throughout the entire year, it becomes all the more magical at holiday time. The air has a certain crispness to it. The late-rising morning sun and early sunsets paint a golden glow over the land before giving way to thousands of twinkling lights. The decorations everywhere signal how special being here at Christmastime can really be.

Below are but a small sample of the holiday decor that springs up around the Disneyland Resort each year. We've concentrated on the two theme parks themselves, taking pictures at different times of day and in different kinds of weather.
